Suzy and Aubrey

Suzy Kolber was born Suzanne Lisa Kolber on May 14th, 1964, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to a Jewish family. She is currently at 58. Sandra Kolber is her mother and Gene Kolber is her father. She went to Sandy Run Middle School in Dresher Pennsylvania and is a 1982 graduation from Philadelphia's Upper Dublin High School. In 1986, she earned an undergraduate degree in Arts that included a concentration on telecommunications at the University of Miami. Even as a student at college, she landed her first job as the sports director for Dynamic Cable Coral Gables Florida. Her employment lasted for another two years in between the year 1984 and 1986. During this period she was also on the team of water skiers of University of Miami. University of Miami. In her youth Plaza played in the performances in the local community theater of her home town Wilmington doing improv acting as well as directing one-act theatre. After graduation, she moved towards New York City where she attended improv courses at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and pursued a degree in film and television production at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and graduated in the year 2006. When she was 20 years old, she had an injury to her brain that resulted in temporary expressive aphasia (a deficit in expression and comprehension of the language).
