Annaleigh Amanda Ashford was born in the US. Ashford is an actor or singer, as well as dancer. Early Broadway performances included Wicked Legally Blonde & Hair. Thomas Kail (director) and Jeffrey Seller (producer), exactly the same group that produced Hamilton is directing the production. Ashford's latest performance was Paula Jones on Ryan Murphy FX's American Crime Story Impeachment. It is based upon the National scandal that featured Paula Jones Monica Lewinsky, and Linda Tripp. She starred in two seasons on the hit CBS comedy B Positive. The show was written by Marco Pennette, Chuck Lorre and Linda Lavin. It also featured Ben Vereen and Hector Elizondo. Also, she has appeared in Broadway as a character in Sunday in the Park With George Wicked, Legally Blonde as well as the original role as Lauren as Lauren in Kinky Boots for which she was nominated for a Tony Award. Ashford splits her life between Los Angeles & New York. Her birthplace was in Denver & raised there.
